“ Discuss, with examples, the view that society has focused upon the world of men, at the expense of the world of women."

Roy Lichtenstein
(October 27, 1923 – September 29, 1997) was a prominent American pop artist, his work heavily influenced by both popular advertising and the comic book style. He himself described pop art as, "not 'American' painting but actually industrial painting".

Development of his styles of his artworks: Rise to fame > Fame

Pop art continues to influence the 21st century. Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol were used in U2's 1997, 1998 PopMart Tour and in an exhibition in 2007 at the British National Portrait Gallery. Among many other works of art destroyed in the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001, a painting from Roy Lichtenstein’s The Entablature Series was destroyed in the fire.

Egon Schiele is an Austrian painter. He loves drawing his self-portraits, women and girls. We can see that he has many different views on girls and women which are distinguishing with the others. Most of his paintings include many sexual elements inside; however, we would not feel ashamed or embarrassed in his works. Those paintings are giving people some simple and peaceful feeling by using a kind of thin and lightly brush strokes as well as simple colors.

Egon Schiele's work bring me a question: What is my point of view on women?

It stimulates me to draw a painting to express my view on "pretty" women.

I used different color of pestel to draw my art work.
For me, I think women are pretty sexy when they are having sex with their lovers. All the facial expressions are very beautiful and representing their emotion or feeling brought by their partners. I think women is stunning, passionate, lovely, soft and sexy. Therefore, I use many warm colors in my painting. The woman's body shape is rough as i think fat woman looks more prettier. On the other hand, I used some sharp colors to draw the sexiest part in order to emphasis her sensitiveness to sex.
